My LX210 has had it's engine bay carpet all stripped out by the PO. I'd like to put some back in so I can at least pretend I can hear my passengers. :p Anyone got any ideas of what I should be looking for and where?

Engine bay carpet??
If you are looking for deck carpet/hydro turf, or sea deck . Check with Will @JetBoatPilot he does the hydro turf and sea deck. I'm not sure about replacement carpet. I bought mine on eBay.

Also, welcome aboard!!! Glad to have another 2smoker around.. I believe you and @4x15mph Have the same model boat, that guy has a lot of good info. I have a LS2000, pretty much the same as yours, just not as fancy. LOL

@smthng and @JC6275, I have a 2001 LS 2000 with hydro-turf. I don't know about carpet keeping the noise level down since it mainly comes from the engine compartment and through the rear seat/fuel tank area. You should have an engine tray that fits over the engine and it will have sound deadening material on the bottom.

Outside of that, if you don't have a floor covering, I would definitely look at the hydro-turf or sea tek stuff. Carpet is another option but you would probably want to snap that in and out. The LX210 may already have snaps since I think that came with carpet.

Welcome aboard smthng

Erk... I forgot a few important words in my original post.... My engine bay carpet has been stripped out. I'm fine with the deck carpet (Hydro-turf is on the way), it's the stuff surrounding the engine bay that I'm looking for. The original carpet was irritating because it wasn't fastened down and it made closing the ski locker quite a fight.
