Hello Everyone , last summer season I bought a Scarab 165 G and love the boat however I have an issue while pulling tubers they are getting sprayed in the face pretty bad and makes it almost not enjoyable , looked into adding a wake tower but from reading some discussions doesn’t seem the best idea , I currently have a booster ball but that hasn’t helped much , getting frustrated and looking for some advice

Thinking maybe I get this harness , it should add another 10-12ft rope but any ideas will help greatly thank you!

Sadly, jet boats/PWCs are not great for this. Solutions that can help are the booster ball, longer rope with the booster ball, and another interesting one is to tie a large matt to the stern of the boat that covers the jet wash.

Generally people go with the longer rope and possibly a booster ball when it gets that long.

Towers are NOT meant for tubers. There's a lot more force than skiiers and it can break. There many warnings about this in manuals and online everywhere. So keep the tower for skiiers/wakeboarders.

I installed a tow bar ( all details in this forum), it’s also easier to bring back the line without going to the back. 🙃

lots of posts over the years about towing tubes, Basically a longer rope 75 foot min. and inflate the tubes so they are more ridged to keep them from digging in to the water allowing them to slide on top of it. This requires less thrust and therefore less water spray. However when it comes to jet boats or P W C's towing tubes you really do need some real steering especially at plaining speeds, and this also makes it safer for retrieving people from the water because you can rapidly reduce your speed in a turn and maintain your steering . Plus the longer rope does make it harder to sling the tubes but the full time steering makes that easy. Now even when using a small P W C to tow tubes the full time steering is the answer. JeffWalkowiak Here is what I use to get the tubes inflated
