165 Id intake hose collapses under high boost

Has anyone else had this problem? Our 165 has the 1630 ace 300 in it and around 7700 rpm the intake hose collapses and the boat cuts out until we chop the throttle and hit it again. It gets worse as the engine bay heats up a bit. Has anyone put an aftermarket intake in or figured out a better way to run the intake so it’s not so bent?
