Looking for the bolt/fastener that connects the steering cable to the nozzle on a Sportjet 120 installed in a 16 foot Mirage. I have been looking at parts catalogues for the Sportjet120 and they do not show this piece. Any ideas?

Must be an answer..Mercury books show everything except this fastener. It is special, not just a bolt. Just not sure why the IPC would not show it.

post a picture of it if possible

it is probably either a quick release ball and socket or a spherical end

It is the shoulder bolt that I am missing. Thanks for the reply. I am not paying $70.00 USD for a bolt. My initial thought was just figure it out. Then I thought it is only a bolt..how bad could it be for OEM..pretty bad.

show a picture of it if possible I usually have good ideas on how to make something work even if you do it a different way, more than 1 way to fix a steering cable.
