I just picked up this boat last week, looking for feedback on getting a surfable wake.

I have already ordered an 800 lbs FatSac swim ballast and have 2 rear locker ballasts, 400 lbs each.

My question is more about the surf wedge. I have a SWELL surf wedge from a previous V-drive I had, but I was reading that they don't work best with jet boats. The only other option I can find is the jet wash deflector, which doesn't seem to be produced anymore, or the Universal Wake Wedge, but that is $1200 and a bit more than I am looking to spend.

With the SWELL surf wedge work, or what other options do I have?

I think I responded to your post on FB. The swell wedges do not work with Yamaha jetboats, so you don't bother with that one. The best result with the first gen 24" hulls is the Wake Wedge. The jetwash deflector is not going to be worth searching for, thus they are not made anymore. It helped, but was not the impactful change that the wake wedge did

Good luck.
