I've a 2014 Scarab Impulse 195 HO that I let sit for nearly 2 years. She ran fine when parked (Dry on a trailer).
Replaced Battery, No start. Key Was always difficult so I replaced the ignition in case that was the issue. Nothing.
So I went all out, New Relays, new starter solenoid. Still Nothing. Only Relay Clicks. The Starter does engage properly when the solenoid is jumped.
I have bypassed the "deadman switch" (that is just unplugging, but I did also try with a fuse linking just in case) I did also try the trick of slowly moving the throttle to see if it found neutral. That did nothing either, same with jumping the connector to bypass it.
I have tried swapping and flipping the relays also to no avail.
I don't remember if it is normal but when turning the key to "start" the dash goes dark/dead, I'm guessing that is normal to give full power to the starting process.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
