Welp I hit a wall. Bought a 2019 Yamaha Limited S and found out that the steering was incredibly tight. Turns out that the steering plate and pivot pin are seized up. I removed the set screw and just cannot get it to pop out. Tried everything I can think of. Suggestions are very very welcome!
ps called Yamaha and they are 4 months out on service.

Did you ver figure it out? I need to remove this and can’t figure out how to do it. Any help is appreciated.

Yes, you need OTC Mechanical Grip Puller. I attached a pic. Got one off amazon.
