Soon after buying my boat the end bumper plugs disappeared out of the ladder. I replaced them and somehow they disappeared again.

I had a little extra time today and decided to 3D print replacements. I tweaked the quality and reprinted so I may swap these out. They fit well, are more likely to stay in and have a center hole to allow draining.

I printed these in TPU plastic so that they would have some flexibility and the edges are slightly rounded.

The design is online at Yamaha SX230 Ladder Plug (Bumper) by GavWorks. Feel free to print a set or get a friend to print them for you.

Nicely done. Now I will have to wait until mine fall out.

You should just go ahead and print them now for spares. That way you’ll never need them.
