Has anyone added anything to the ski locker floor to keep your storage items dry? I'm thinking a raised shelf (think low shoe rack that sits low to the ground, but is open underneath) to allow the water to pass under the items I have in there. I mainly store life jacket, paddles and other random long things in there, but they almost always get wet and have mildew on them. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Mine did too. It gets all grimy. I'd love to get something that actually lets the water flow underneath it. Even if it was only a few inches off the ground with only the legs touching the floor. I need to get in there and measure. I found a few options that I could modify to make work.

Interested to hear what you find!

Agree. I had assumed it was from the top. I know in a good rain or a good dunking I get water in there from the deck... I know, I can replace the gasket but...

However, if the water is from elsewhere into the bilge, fix that and just plug the drain there until you do.

On my 21 AR250 water was coming in from the anchor locker into the ski locker. If you look there is an opening in between the two. If I had people sitting up front at low speed the anchor locker took water through the anchor locker drain then flowed into the ski locker. I plugged my anchor locker drain and fixed it

I’ve used DryDeck interlocking mats. It’s a product similar to these. They can be trimmed to fit the floor of a compartment and raise your stored items above the water that sits on the bottom and allows it to move towards the drain.

Step 1 - fix the leaks that are allowing water into the bilge
Eliminate the problem don’t just manage it.

Fix the anchor locker drain and put a removable plug in the drain and eliminate any water coming into the locker from the lake. Put the O rings under your clean out plugs @Spooky pantz and eliminate water from the clean out plugs, and seal up the clean out tray.

Dry deck is a great product for any incidental water that may get in.
