Like new but used CIPA 180 mirror and mount. I upgraded to a PTM edge and this is just laying around now. CIPA mount has quick lever for folding/storage. Packed and ready to ship. PM if wish to purchase.

@jthackman made things easy. Some folks just want to be rid of stuff without much hassle as their time is worth more than the hassle. I have had great luck with everyone I have bought and sold with on here. I wish FB marketplace was this easy.

Happy classifieds hunting.

Thanks @Mainah ...here's to hoping you'll stumble across a remaining electric push button start kit while cleaning out the shop and post it up:)

Curious what PTM Edge you went with. My boat has a PTM Edge stock and I hate the damn thing, thinking of going with what you just sold. LOL! The PTM that comes with the 212x is terrible. Such a floppy POS and it doesn't really clamp well. You can crank on it and it's still pretty loose. It's probably a good mirror, just not on my boat. I'm sure there's tons of different models for that brand.

I went with the one that came on the x models. It is a two position mirror (up or down). It locks in place by engaging a machined flat on an internal pivot rod. I can see if assembled incorrectly or the clamp was installed wrong side up it would fail to lock in place. The one I have was used. I used a punch set to remove the rod and used some polyolefin shrink tubing on the rod to get more tension/interference with the main clamp body. It does not wiggle at all now. The cipa applies tension to to a rod. The cipa is a bit bigger and thicker. At high speed over chop it may try and walk down a bit depending on how much preset tension which also affects how hard you have to push/pull on the lever. Neither is perfect.

I liked the lower height and smaller profile of the PTM better based on how I like to sit when I tow riders (one leg underneath me and a bit sideways). Minor differences but something that was material to me. Both mirrors are far superior to any non-panoramic for use when towing riders. My state allows for only a driver when a pano mirror is used. I admittedly do this. I do not allow myself to be distracted and take the job seriously when I do it. I also avoid crowded areas and don’t give second thought to nailing the throttles after a hard over to run back and protect my rider if needed.
