Hello All
The gas mileage and performance of the Optimax in the Mirage and Tango were great.
Now without Sugar Sand is there another?

Some of the older Seadoo 20’ challengers (2002 through 2004) and utopias and islanders used mercury sport jet engines and pumps as did Euroline’s clones and twisters but other than these and sugar sand I don’t know of any other mercury powered jet boats. Being two strokes the performance was great but Mine got really bad mileage and smoked a lot on start up.

Mercury discontinued the Sportjet altogether last year. There were some aluminum boat makers that were using them, don't know what they are switching to.
