Hi all, I am new to the forum and jet boat world. I recently bought a new 2023 222SE Yamaha and yesterday I got rocks in the bucket so the port motor was stuck in reverse. The motor was running but a little while later threw a code on the connect screen saying take it to a Yamaha dealer and now won’t start. I have cleared the rocks from the bucket. I tried to start it in my driveway but it won’t start.

Won’t turn over at all? Or turns over and won’t start? What’s your battery voltage? Do you charge your batteries with a maintainer? Check all your safety switches (lanyard and clean-out hatch switch). Throttles in neutral? To reset the code you may have to do this as I had to to reset a code: turn battery switches on, turn key on, wait for connect to boot, then turn key off, turn batteries off. Do this process 5-10 times and it should reset the code.

Yeah I tried starting just the port motor in the driveway. My batteries are new and at like 13.8-14. I will do the turn key on off and see if the bucket starts moving again. I will do some more looking into tonight. I just read on here the BCU error message thread and hope all of this gets it going again. Thank you for your time and input. I’ll keep you posted
