Enable 3 char forum search?

I realize most forums disable this as it is hard on the DB, but maybe for registered users it could be enabled? Sometimes a host won't allow this if it is using a shared DB, so I understand if not...

It would allow for searches on TDE, AMP, SUB, etc, which right now are not possible

I tried to change the limit to 3 but the 4 character minimum is forced by the MySQL database engine. By default MySQL only indexes words four characters or longer. I could change this and recreate the full text search index. I may do so in the future but doing so will break all search functionality for however long it takes MySQL to recreate the index.

An easier method of searching for three character words is to go to http://Google.com and type in site:jetboaters.net sub. This will perform a search of our site only for whatever keyword you choose. It may also help to improve our Google search ranking.

Yeah, searching for LED has been a pain... I guess if people did the #LED it might make things simpler...

@Detonate, I expected you to hack in and query the database for LED.
