So today while I was out fishing I got to enjoy the first in my life experience of a hook buried to the hilt in the meaty part of my hand. I was trying to get the hook out of this fishs’ mouth and he did a big head shake and sank one of the hooks into my hand and then he came off the hook. I had had needle nose pliers in my hand to remove the hook from the fish, so very quickly I grabbed the hook with the pliers and yanked it out.. surprising how much it bled. Good thing my tetanus shot is up to date!
