I just installed my F2 32oo pound winch today. Easy install, and very nice winch but a word of caution....

While installing the bolt for the winch handle, it never seemed to get tight when suddenly the head of the bolt popped right off. Thankfully it broke with enough of the threads exposed that a pair of vice grips was able to get it out. Quick trip to Home Depot and $.20 for a new (stronger) bolt and problem solved.

Now I can wait to use it. I'm dry stacked and only moved my trailer today. I was paying almost $600 a year to store it at the marina and moved it to a buddy's house that owns enough acres that I can park it there for free. My HOA doesn't allow it.

Thanks for the heads up, looking at installing this winch sometime soon.

I put this winch on last season and love it. I will watch for this bolt problem. Hope yours was just an anomaly but thanks for the heads up.
