Had a great day on the water even as day started off sketchy it cleared up but the ocean was relentless.

I knew inlet would be at its best and made attempt to get on You Tube again, it may be a win for Haulover this time.

Went through a long patch of seaweed right as I was coming around South rocks of inlet(where cameras are) there was a nylon rope that went between impeller and liner killing my approach right next to yacht throwing a huge wake.
Powered through under bridge and cleared traffic behind me to kill engine to see rope in clean out plug. Current was pulling backwards so I had to shut everything fast and get motor started to limp away to sandbar where I was able to cut excess off.

Limping on my way again looking for Tow Boat I felt it dislodge and I was on my way back to ramp full throttle. Crisis adverted for now.
Taking pump apart for inspection before next outing to Marco Island on Friday.

Picture of stupid rope and nice water funnel we saw while anchored.
