I’m Deb, new to boating, and have had some exposure to the forum in the way of some help with an old boat I needed to get rid of (help which I’m very grateful for~ saved me a headache and a ton of cash!).

I was kinda doing things backwards with buying a boat first and knowing nothing about it; everything went sideways. So now I’m going to try to learn about boating, get my license, and make a wish for a boat come Spring.

Very nice to be here.

Welcome aboard and hope we can help!

:Welcome:

Sorry about the first boat ownership experience. Can only get better from here!

Welcome @Debra

You know that old saying about the two happiest days of a boat owners life, right? There’s supposed to be more days in between than with your last boat. ;) Hopefully your next one will bring you more enjoyment than the first. Every day of boat ownership is a learning process, so thanks for sharing yours. I’m sure many will benefit from it.

Glad to have you on the forum and to see that you aren’t discouraged from your dream of boat ownership.

Welcome aboard! Lots knowledgeable folks here to insure your next boating experience is a good one!

Hey @Debra. Welcome aboard. Any thoughts on type of boat you're looking for and type of boating you'll be doing?

Always good to have another Canadian on-board. Welcome.
