I don't have the faintest idea what broke with the forum

I'm going to try to attach pics of what's different - I'm on another XenForo forum, and this didn't happen there, so it's not browser related.

The grayed-out options are inaccessible for me here, and this happened between yesterday-ish and today



Hopefully that pic posts, and the next Pic, showing another XenForo forum where it is functioning as expected, and shows all the options available, and not grayed out



Was something updated, or is this some sort of timeout, or...

The chain figure has not worked for me in over a year. Used to rename links. Figured it was my old, full devices/accounts. I have also noticed that @Admin does not work. Tagging a member does work to get our attention. Tagging @Bruce to bring him into the thread.

I have some folks looking into this for me on a third forum (no issues there either), and one of them believes it to be a setting that was changed, but he's not sure if the answer is forum related, or personal profile related.

Given that I didn't make any intentional changes that I'm aware of, I lean towards a forum change, which is why I'm wondering if an update borked something.

The chain (link) has been a on/off proposition for me, sometimes it works, other times it spews the full text of the web address, after showing it as a pretty link.

For Amazon links, I just copy and web search the ASIN, and copypasta THAT link, as they shorten it appropriately. All other sites...

Got it.

I can't say there's no way that I did this, but at least the fix for my issue was found.

Hit the 3 dots on the function bar where shown by the yellow circle, then hit those brackets. All functionality is/was restored.

Seems possible with an egregious fat fingering, but I can't recall any point where that may have happened

Not sure if that'll fix the link/chain option too, but maybe "turn it off and then turn it back on" might help
