Looking to purchase a jet wash deflector for a 04/05 AR 230. Understand these are no longer manufactured, so if anyone has one laying around they are no longer using would love the opportunity to purchase! @JetBoatPilot if you’d be willing to share the old design specs i’d even consider having one custom made (or pay the team for a one off order). I don't think those were universal fit. I have one for my 242ls, it should fit all 240/242 from 2010-2014 for sure, as they were all the same hull design. But no idea on others. Honestly, it connects to the ladder, so it may be fine. But the distance from ladder to swimdeck is important.

I would ship it, but it's not small and shipping will be as much as the thing is worth these days.

Have you guys figured out which one you need first? There were multiple models based on hull design. They are out there, but it would be worth talking to Will at JPB to determine which will work for your hull. If mine works, first come first served.

To be honest, if we agreed on a price, the cost to ship it would be crazy expensive. It's not light, and would need a big box. If I had to guess it would be at least $75 to UPS Ground it in the US. So I am unsure if it would be worth it

Is you deflector the one that swivels for either side deflection?

yes, I have had both. They started with one that did not swivel. This one does.

Other than the obvious design difference what makes the wedge better than the deflector? I am new to this and trying to figure it all out

Here is an unpublished video I had put together while testing the Jetwash Deflector with Will at Jetboat pilot. I'm sure he's cool with me sharing it.

It was not a failure, but to be honest, it didn't do enough to probably justify the cost. And possibly why it is no longer produced. The wake wedge far out performed this unit, but it was more expensive. So you get what you pay for.

It does clean up the wave, and it does work for either...

Hey all, Kind of along the lines of the OP request. I'm not looking to purchase a JWD, but trying to find someone who has one of the original ones for a 23ft (2005 SX 230). I've been working on reverse engineering one to build myself mainly from pics and videos, and am pretty close with my first couple versions, but if someone has one who would be willing to take and share some dimensions/shapes would be very helpful in reducing my iterations. I have the ability to CAD/CNC the components, so the construction is easy, but trying to get the shapes/dimensions right have been a bit of a struggle. I may also reach out to Will directly and see if he is willing to share any info, since they aren't making them anymore. Thanks in advance.
