The features on this site are simply put....fantastic. One thing that I think might enhance the ability to stay on top of a topic would be a "Last Poster Indicator". I'm sure that there's a more appropriate label for it, but here's my attempt to describe it.

I find myself using the features titled "New Posts" and "Recent Posts" to stay on top of the latest hot topics. Once the list of "New or Recent Posts" are gathered, I think it would really be helpful to indicate off to the side who was the last member to post a reply to each topic (possibly above the time of last post). That way you could look for a specific members response easier.

Anyway, I wish that I had the talent that some of you guys do when it comes to these kinds of things. Thanks for the consideration, you guys have been great at being open to all suggestions.

Dennis, I am a little confused. The right most column in the Recent and New post lists is confusingly named "Last Message" but it is the name of the last person to post in that thread. Are you looking for something different?

Here's what I see on my screen under either new posts or active postsimage.jpg

Are you using a mobile browser?

I just noticed the names are not there on my iPhone

I'm using internet explorer on my laptop and also an iPhone.

I wonder if you have access to it because you're an administrator and my access is different? Or maybe there's a setting somewhere that I need to set differently?

I like the way your thinking Dennis. I also would like to see the subject name of the thread I am in in each post. Call me crazy, but I get lost and that would be helpful.

I agree Mel. I forgot about that one. You're right, it would be nice to see the title of the topic on each post. Some of the topics are similar (especially the welcome threads) that I forget where exactly I was.

For what it's worth, I see it as Bruce sees it from a Mac with Safari. Same with my iPad.
