In regards to just finance (totally agreeing the your heath being THE most important aspect of life), I've taught my daughter the three rules of money since she was in kindergarten and make her repeat it on command so it stays lodged in her head:
I told her if you stick to the following, you'll be just fine.
1) Don't spend more than you make
2) Always be saving and investing
3) Money doesn't buy you happiness, but it gives you options
