My 2006 SX210 has always sounded a few audio tones when I switch the starboard ignition to on just before moving to start. It recently stopped making the tone. Has anyone experienced this issue? I have never really thought about where the noise even comes from and now that it is silent it is harder to figure out. Everything else works fine.

Well I scrapped that over the winter and installed an Elite 4HDI and dropped a new voltmeter where it used to live, so that explains it! I always thought it was a warning tone prior to engine start. Ha.

Hey, thats the same fish finder I just bought. Have you any pictures of where you mounted it. I havent decided where I am going to put mine yet. Some say you can mount it in the same hole as the original depth finder with some pvc piping and others have mounted it above the stereo. How did you mount yours? Thanks.
