Does anyone have a recommendation for a good replacement Battery (batteries) for a 242x e-series? The batteries I have now won't seem to hold a charge and I had to jump it twice this weekend. I am looking for a good qaulity marine battery, any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks!

I've typically just gone to Advance Auto and bought their marine battery - Autocraft. When you buy their gold or platinum level it gives 48 month free replacement (that I did use on my Dad's car battery). Mine still had the Deka batteries from the dealer in it and have had no issues.

If you want top of the line....Optima (but you'll pay 3 times the price approx)

I have recently replaced my jetski batteries to AGMs. When the time comes for me to replace my 242 batteries, I will definitely get AGMs. They are more expensive, but no liquid, and never a need to have to pull out the batteries to check for water. I have not looked at where the best price is, but just a thought for you.
