RIP... Robin Williams

Robin Williams found dead today, 63 years old, Apparent suicide. What a shame he was one of the great comedian / actors of our time.

Really? I liked his content but didn't always like his delivery, he often (to me, anyways) seemed to have a somewhat sorrowful undertone to his delivery... even when he was being funny. RIP funnyman...

Sad to find out that a man with such talent, who was so brilliant, could also be so depressed that he would commit suicide. It's a great loss to his friends and family, and to audiences everywhere.

I am overwhelmed by this loss. Robin Williams was one of the greats. He was such a talent, a brilliant comedian and actor. I could tell by the last dee interviews I saw, that he suffered from depression. Many brilliant people do. Rear in peace Robin, you were great to many of us. And sorry we didn't notice to lend you a hand. Thank you for the many years of laughter!

I just feel a great amount of sadness and sympathy for him and his family, it is sad to think this man probably never felt the happiness in his own life that he brought into millions of others ...

"Oh Captain my Captain"...... One of my favorite movies was Dead Poets Society. They started playing it on one of the movie channels so I recorded the movie and I made my teenage daughters sit and watch it with me. There are some great words to live by in that movie. The whole time I was watching the movie I reflected on how parallel the movie was to his life at the end. I thought to myself, I wonder if he watched this movie before his actions? Or if he had not watched the movie, and then decided to watch it while he was contemplating suicide, would he have changed his mind?
