2006 SX230. Is there a rubber strip that goes between where the center folding part and the starboard stationary part of the windshield meet? Looks like there should be but if there is mine is missing and it’s not listed in the parts diagrams.

On my 2008 SX230 it's attached to the inside of the edge of the folding piece. More like a strip of neoprene gasket to prevent metal on metal contact.windshield flap gasket.png

I thought some kind of cushioning would of been there so the frames were not metal to metal. Is yours a foam material or a harder rubber?

I think it's a neoprene like gasket with a little cushioning on it.

Mine was missing so I had some camper foam sitting around that I used.

On the 07 when I was replacing the vinyl screw cover on the windshield that shrunk over time. You can see the black rubber seal on the windshield overlap on the center section. Mine was rubberized, not foam.
