It is a workout, no question. I'm surprised you guys are using relatively light weight gear, albeit I have not done it in many years so things must have changed.
There is just something about bluefish - and how they bite - a hyper-aggressive pelagic predator that will test your strength and chew your toes off if you are not careful.
Also love them on the grill.
