I have a 2014 ar192 with thrustvector xv's installed by the previous owner. will these have to be trimmed to install the lateral thruster and whats the difference between the xv and the x.

Thanks

I just went through this ordeal, actually (although, my vectors are the PRE-xl/xv ones).

The XVs will most likely need to be trimmed to allow the lateral thrusters to fully work. You may have less blockage than mine did, but yeah.

The Xs from what I gather are updated to have a cut out for the laterals, and work on 2019 models and back, while the XVs work on like 2016 and back or something like that (didn't pay too close of attention to the model years since I've got a 2012).

If you reach out to them they will send you a template for the model fins you have to cut them back should you decide to. I do have the template that they just sent me and it says XV on it, so it might work. I can send it to you if you want.

Thanks for the offer, they emailed me with the info and template and were very helpful
