Has anyone installed tabs on a boat with Helm Master? The reason I ask is, while holding up the components in the approximate location, it occurred to me that they may affect the maneuverability while in joystick mode. The jet nozzles and buckets are in very crazy positions and angles to make it all work correctly. I'm just afraid that the tabs may mess all that up.

Thoughts?

Maybe seakeeper would be a better and lower profile install for the H? Just spitballing as I have no engineering experience whatsoever 😂

I don't really get into big water very much (mostly super smooth small lakes), but the times I do go to Lake Erie it would be nice to have tabs, even manual. Can't justify the Ride price for the few times I would actually use them. Maybe some day.

If you deal with cross winds, the Ride keeps the boat on an even keel automatically. The auto controller I had with Lectro tabs on my last boat did not work automatically.

Yea, I didn't purchase the auto control. I just mainly want tabs to help with 2 footish waves on the way to the islands or out to a fishing spot on Erie. Maybe 20 to 25 minute rides at most. This is mostly to decrease the bumps for my wife...

I guess I'm to the point that if any of the FSH sport H guys out there tell me that the Helm Master controls are unaffected (especially crabbing) by installing SeaKeeper or any trim tab system, I will go ahead and install what I have.
