Hi looking to purchase a Williams Jet tender 285. The seller does not have the date of when it was made, does anyone know how to check the boat for a build date.

There should be a HIN number (hull identification number) on the hull, most likely on the upper-right corner on the transom. The last two numbers will be the year manufactured. The number starts with the letters WTP.

Top man thanks , are u familiar with the 285, it does not have the single seat, more the platform seat where the skipper sits.

You are welcome. Not too familiar. Seen a few. My tender is a Zodiac Cadet alumrib 330. Williams tenders are a nice rig.
