I have a brand new FSH 255 Sport E OVH, after 12 hours of use it broke down cause of transom cable tripped and made a short apparently .Yamaha reviewing warranty claim.
You could get the part yourself and make the repairs or keep calling the dealer & customer service asking what is going on. One other thing you could consider contacting an attorney or at least inform them that if this takes much longer that you will be contacting one.

I have a brand new 255 FSH Sport E and have had the reverse bucket actuator on the port side fail in the closed position twice now. The first one I went back to the dealer and they said it was low voltage in the batteries. The second was definitely not low voltage and still having issues. What was the outcome of your issue?
