Looking to purchase some ballast bags.
Looking at a Ronix Eight.3 1100 for ski locker to start, and pump.

Checking for any forum discounts or internet coupon codes.

thanks in advance for the help

Not seen any....but that looks like an interesting bag!

Call Spencer at wakemakers.com and just ask. Worked for me!

I called Wakemakers and they said that Jetboaters.net has a discount there...????? @Julian are you aware of this? (Code moved to Wakemakers.com by @Bruce, as I suspect that vendors will be more willing to offer discounts if we keep the codes private)

Seems to be 10% off

@jetboat623 I feel your pain I have over 1000 in my auto system. How many bags and inlets are you doing?

I don't knowthe shape and size of the newer boats, but I have the straight line 800 lb center sack and it fits the length of the ski locker and fills up all the way. The 1100 lb pictured looks too tall and wide to me...unless the 2010 s have a different dimension.

Three bags 400Lbs on each side of the engine in the "dead" space. And a 750Lbs bag in the center locker. Two inlets and two pumps, one for the back and one for the front. Finished electrical today, waiting for the 750lbs bag but everything is piped and ready to go. I hope it doesn't leak too much.....

Did you use the quick connect fittings? Install any vents for the bags? Check valves inline on the vents? Any pictures or advice for others?

Yea I did use the high fly quick connectors. I bought two wake makers kits setup for above the water line. I then added a few pieces to add a second bag off one pump. You will need two people for most of the process preferably someone small. It took a lot more time then I thought it would, manly because of the tight spaces you are working in. I am cut and beat up. You will have to have a heat gun to make things fit together, also I would have extra wire connectors, hose clamps, and either buy or make a tool to tighten the throw hull fittings (I used a file and vise grips). I'm planning on doing a full write up after everything is done and working.

Been there done that....I was picking fiberglass out of my arms for weeks...lol

Not to highjack the thread but for those following I dipped the boat in the lake and only found two little leaks on the two pipes going in to one of the pumps. The bags filled and drained perfectly.

Get a pic of the wave?

No, still waiting for the center locker bag, should be here tomorrow just in time for the weather to get nice again. Hopefully get pics on Saturday or Monday.

I have a ballast bag that was never used. It came stock on Seadoo's X20 Challenger (their top of the line / only wake board boat at the time) and was meant to be put into the center ski locker. I also have the pump and would be willing to let them go cheap. If you are interested let me know and I'll dig them out of storage, fill it to verify it's water tight, send you pics, specs, etc.

Hi Ronnie

Do you know what size the bag would be?

It's a fat sac model #W507, 20" by 50" (tube shaped), 600 lb. capacity. The box has seen better days but the fat sac and cover look like they have never been out of the box or individual clear packaging they came in. I used the pump a hand full of times a few years ago as I experimented with it when trying to build an electric water gun. Here are some pics. If you are interested PM me your zip code. I will find out the shipping costs and we can go from there.

Took the boat out on the lake today and loaded up the 1450lb system I just installed. I am very happy, I need to find some wake pictures from last year and compare but no matter what the ease of hitting two buttons to fill and empty was priceless.
