Not a Bimini crossing... but exciting just the same, check out our Yamaha NYC adventure:

Nice job every time I drive over the bridges and look down it always looks calm and imagine ripping around on the yamaha great video. Did it get choppy at all ?I never see white caps the great South Bay gets nasty when the wind picks up.

Funny you mention that, we were in the slop of the GSB on Tuesday as we headed to a restaurant on the Patchogue River. The East River was calm up North near Hells Gate, but there are serious currents to be concerned with. Down South near the Battery Park it got rough. You have the Staten Island Ferry, Circle Line, Water Taxis, Barges, etc. Next time I need a helmet camera or a dedicated photographer. It was a challenge trying to drive and shoot at the same time. It is a trip I recommend, just watch for debris which could get lodged in your impeller.

Great fun and video!

Awesome video. Loved seeing all the different bridges and the years that they were built.

Nice video, it is so foreign to me to see boating happening in a big city. Most of the water I boat on has little to no development.

What a great trip! Thank you for sharing.
Would you be so kind to post the tracks for this trip - if that's not too much to ask! I could PM.
I'm strongly considering this trip and really would like to know as much as I can. Are any of the areas you crisscrossed no-wake zones? It didn't look like it from the movie, lol.
