My daughter and I were able to eat the new Popeyes chicken sandwich for lunch today. She had spicy I had original.

We normally enjoy Popeyes chicken and were expecting good things although we love Chic-Fil-A (food quality and service A++)

The line was only 2 cars deep to order, of course in Popeyes style it still took us 20 minutes to get our food from that point.

It was just as good as chic-fil-a, it's basically their boneless chicken strip in patty form, the original had mayonnaise and the spicy had a spicy spread vs. the strips that have a dusting of spice.

I wouldn't advise anyone waiting line to get one but if you happened at Popeyes and it was available I wouldn't think you'd be disappointed.

You didn’t even mention the KFC Double-Down...?

just for the service alone, Chika chika.

Popeyes.

None of that here.

I think I have some kind of intolerance to peanut oil or something. Every time I eat chic fil a I feel like shit.

Dang Scott, you picked a heck of a topic. I’ve only ate Chic-fil-A once and have never had Popeyes so guess I’m out on this one.

There are other reasons to support Chic fil a, besides their food and service.

Popeyes.

Chic-Fil-A

Grilled chicken samich with extra pickle, waffle fries, unsweetened tea.
1 Polynesian and 1 Original.

Not sure on this taste wise but two observations about Chick-Fil-A that I don’t like:

1. Always a long line.
2. Closed on Sundays.
