Oil Filter replacement ( Alternative means )

Does this K&N filter fit the 2009 212ss?

I have not thought about this thread in a decade but yes, these filters fit MR-1s and your boat has MR-1s.

Ok great. Thanks Bruce. Any oil besides Yamalube that you would recommend? I usually use Mobil 1 but can’t remember the weight.

I have always used Mobil 1 10w-40.

That is marketed as a high mileage formula now.
 
For the 1.8L I bought a bulk pack (6) of Purolator Pure One Filters [HASH=9588]#PL10241[/HASH]. It was $36.xx total.
Made in North Carolina, with "Multi-Fiber High Density Media"
