Noco charger dead. Help.

Hello everyone. My about 4 year old NOCO genius Gen 2 smart charger has died. The charging lights are not turning on. The battery is definitely not charging. Is there any troubleshooting that can be done or is this a dead unit and I need a new one?

i've got a diff model noco (genius mini2)..but i don't see any mention in my manual of a 'reset' function. are you sure the outlet it's plugged into is good? possibly a tripped gfi plug?
mine has a fuse in the pos leads from charger to battery, does yours?
looks like there's a 5yr warranty...

Noco has replaced a charger for me in the past that died. It didn't go completely lights out like your are describing though.

Nevermind, I took it home, plugged it in and it worked. I suspect the outlet at the storage place is putting out low voltage. These things need at least 70VAC. Will confirm tomorrow.

Just went thru this. My Noco flush mount plug had a broken pin.

Either that or that outlet has a GFCI plug upstream and it tripped, or the ckt breaker for that plug is tripped. I’ve had both GFCI and ckt breakers trip whether I’m on the road or at home. Glad it’s working.

I thought it was the GFCI tripping, since I didn't see the green light on. I pressed the reset button and nothing changed. I did check with non contact voltage tested and got a signal so I thought it was the NOCO. Now I'm heading back there today to actually measure the VAC with a multimeter.

Update. It's the outlet. Only getting about 20 VAC out of it. They let me run an extension cord to another outlet and we are rolling again. False alarm! Noco still working!
