Hello all I am new to this forum. We have a 2020 AR195s. Bought new. Great boat. So far this has been a great forum. Glad to be here and hope I can learn a thing or two about some of the things I am planning on doing here real soon I want to add a second battery, in the process of upgrading the cabin speakers, will be adding tower speakers, a sub and amp. I’m sure there are a ton of posts on each of those.

The OEM audio in my '23 195S was a bit of letdown. It reminded me of what factory car stereos sounded like in the early 90's - hollow and baseless, but with a fancy brand name slapped on the speaker grills. Trying to keep the budget low (got too many hobbies ...), I set out to upgrade the factory audio with hopes to accomplish the following:

• Improved sound quality
• Audible while under power without drowning out a conversation.
• Decent sound when hanging out behind the boat without blowing out the eardrums of anyone still in the boat.
• Factory look

We go to Detroit Lake. We moor our boat there so it’s easy for us and only like 40 min from home.

The lake is great. Gets windy as heck though everyday which makes white caps on the waves and hard to drive. So you gotta go somewhere to get outta the wind which of course means you have to drive in super choppy water.

Understood! I deal with a lot of wind here as well!

Are you using the TDE position of the throttle and no wake mode level three to help you steering at low speeds?

Occasionally yes. I did buy a cobra jet steering thing to put on. Have t done that yet though.
