Hello! I am new here and need some guidance. Thought this might be a good place to start. I inherited a 1986 Anchor Industries Ski Deck with a remanufactured OMC COBRA 4.3 L engine. It belonged to my Dad. He bought it brand new and enjoyed it a couple of seasons, until he forgot to winterize. He had the engine totally rebuilt but a short time later his health began to deteriorate and wasn’t able to take her out on the water much. I’m not positive but I will bet the new rebuilt engine has less than 30 hours run time on it. We did some research, tuned her up and set the timing, had a carburetor kit put in, etc., and took her out on the lake. WOW! Talk about GET UP AND GO !!!! I didn’t realize what I had. We shined on the boat as best we could but it needs new seats and trim. Now my other half is getting older and has health issues too. I guess I have to sell it. I know the engine is worth some money. Any ideas on how and where I can find a buyer? I know it’s not a speed boat but she is fast. Thought someone might be wanting a project. Any advice or suggestions?

If the trailer is in good shape and the boat is in great shape for the year and everything works on the boat you might get 5k for it in the spring. The market sucks and its a 40 year old boat.
