OK hope I can find some help my starboard mr1 engine runs for 3 minutes and than just cut off stops. After 3 or 4 minutes starts up again. I hook up program and reads overheat - pulser code - low oil. I check oil is full engine is not getting hot but I think may be a clog in system. I have taken off the hose going into the thermostat and water is coming out very slow. Alo no water is coming out of tube on exhaust black boot. I also on the thermostat housing remove the small hose which I believe goes overboard and water is pooping out sometimes but a lot of smoke. I also on the tube I remove from the black rubber boot which water is suppose to be coming out just air. I can I get any help to what to do next. I'm in Mexico and there are no mechanic that works on theses engines.

Are you actually getting any warning lights lighting up on the tach of the problem engine? Change the spark plugs, do a compression test, and check thermostat in boiling water to see if it opens. Even if you have an overheat it shouldn’t shut off. Or at least mine never did when I had an overheat a couple times after sucking stuff up in the pumps. Also, is this a salt water boat or freshwater, and how many hours?

No warning light on dash and i replace thermostat with a brand new one

If no warning lights then it shouldn’t cause it to shut off. Fuel spark air and compression, rule them all out. Changing spark plugs is easy, your air filter is probably fine, then you can test the injectors and spark via YDS. And then check compression.

Thank you very much will go to these steps and see what occurs. I'll keep posted, I think same was
