Hello,
Anyone tried the new Clix fuel gas funnel on thier jet boat. Looking to see what you think and does it work with Yamaha boats. I have a 2022 252S.

I just picked one up, but have yet to try it. Might be another week or so, as sadly when the kids start back at school, the inevitable sickness follows!!

Wanted to provided some feedback. I have used the CLiX twice now. First time it worked like a champ. Second go around (different station/pump than the first time), the autofill on the pump was triggered, and the tank still “burped” and spit out a decent amount of gas.

From that point, I was still able to manually pump in ~3 gallons at a slower rate.

To note, when on the trailer after filling, I am never able to get the fuel gauge above ~86% when on flat land. On the water it will read 100% if on plane, but once off plain its mid to low 90’s.

Is there a good flow of vapor coming out of the vent while filling?

I am not sure how to quantify a good flow.

I did notice that on the initial fill up, a drop or two of liquid came out of the vent. During the second fill up, I don’t recall seeing that.

While the tank is filing, hold your breath and put your cheek right next to the vent and see if you can feel the flow coming out of the vent.

Thanks for the suggestion. Can I use my hand? On the trailer the tank and vent is about 6ft off the ground on the 252.

This winter I will be taking the boat to the dealer for a few warranty items and will bring this up if I can’t get it figured out.

You can but your face is more sensitive.
