Wanted to share the possibilities. 2023 195s where I added JL M3 7.7 speakers. Changed out the factory 6.5 as well with JL M3 6.5's. JL M600/6 channel amp will be installed on Tuesday. I'll add pictures of that later.

I added mid cabin speakers in the same places on our 21 195s as part of our upgrade, big difference.

We're you able to enjoy the tunes while underway? What speakers did you put in that location and did you add any others. Sub possibly, tower speaker, or any other locations, amp? I can't wait to hear what I've done so far after the amp is installed to wake it all up.

The mud cabins I added were stock Recons, I bought 4 from someone else on the forum. I also added 2 Icon 8 tower speakers a 10" free air sub and two amps. Zone 1 is all the cabin speakers and the sub briged on channels 5 & 6. Zone two is the second sub just for the towers. All equipment is Wet Sounds.

I bet that does sound nice. Next I'm thinking about a 10" sub. We'll see after I amp up. I'm just looking for a little more audio underway but mostly a nice sound while I'm posted up. Thanks bro, happy boating.

Definitely not the loudest on the lake but if you turn it all the way you probably can't stay in the boat, but floating behind sounds good.

just wondering, where about on your 195S did you mount your 10" free air sub?

I haven't yet but I putting in in the starboard side wall just behind the captain chair. Looks promising but want to measure a few more times before I cut.

got ya, interested to see how you make out! if the 10" is going to be a close call I may go with two 8"s.. one in that location then one opposite side of the boat

If you have the double cup holder in the back on the starboard side, you can reach in to that location. I'm pretty sure the m3 jl 10inch will fit from what I've measured. Mines going in soon.

Port helm. Tried to upload a photo, but the file is too big. Maybe this link will work. sub-jpg.167646 (6936×9248) (jetboaters.net)
If I was going to do it again, I would raise it 5'-6" as I can't open the ski locker all the way. An inconvenience but not a big deal.

negative, not able to open the link but no worries I get what youre saying! appreciate the input

Port side locations from what I've heard and read come with door vibrations and ski locker complications depending on hight installation

Due to my retired plane (mostly Air Force 2) mechanic brother in-law he insisted I use titanium bolts. I have no vibration issues.

I mounted a 10" IB sub on my AR190 in the wall just behind the captain's chair and it worked great. I'm planning to do the same thing on my 195S. I reinforced the opening with a ring of starboard type material. Might be overkill, but I've had no vibration issues.

Did you install the sub yet? I'm considering doing the same thing and was looking for some feedback on the results.

How did it fit? I haven't seen too many of the new 195/190's actually install in that location. Any rattles? What sub did you go with, I was looking at the Revo 10 FA S4 V3 and running 300 watts to it.

Check this thread out. I did all JL Audio with m3 line speakers. 4 6.5's, two 7.7's in the middle, and 10 inch sub. M series 600/6 to run the speakers and xdm 300/1 to run the sub. Yes you'll have to chase a few rattles from areas that weren't tight coming off the assembly line but I only had a few. Sounds great and really filled in after I added the sub. Sounds amazing for a 19 foot boat set up.
