2009 AR210 Depth Finder

Hi all,

The depth finder in my 2009 AR210 doesn't seem like it likes to work most the time. 95% of the time its just a dash on the screen. Sometimes it does show depth but usually not.

I didn't buy this boat new so I don't know if thats just how they work or not. I can get a new transducer on ebay for $250.. seeing if I should throw money at the OEM setup or buy a different depth finder.

If it’s the same as my 09 AR230 Ive never had luck with mine. Ended up using the power from it to power my Garmin to give me depth and speed seeing the speedometer never worked either.

Check your connections and use some dielectric grease if you have it handy. It may be a product of the water you're in 95% of the time. If its too murky and can't get a reading it will dash out.
