So whats some "Secret info on the 2016's????!!! Im getting hints about the permission slip possibly being signed for a 2016 model ?

So does that mean a dead silent Surf edition boat is coming out?

I need to block this thread cause if this is going where I think it is, it's just going to raise my blood pressure...:banghead:

Do we have a date yet? Its normally mid August, right?

On the river today I met a guy that is a dealer out in Montana. He spoke to me like he thought I already knew about the 2016s. Let's just say Buckbuck is more hot than warm.

There are many features I like about the new boats. The price tag is not one of them. But, the biggest issue to me is the new keel. This new keel is taking away from how these boats are supposed to feel and drive. Not a fan at all...
Im with you on this travis, I drove my sisters boyfriends boat while we were at the gathering on Murry. It was a soft smooth turn at WOT, I didnt like it at all. Its not snappy like my little 210 with the little twin 110"s

Wow, I didn't think the keel would take much out of the snappy turns. I can say my 212X will turn much faster, harder and quicker than my 192 but could not imagine it being soft and smooth. That would take away from whipping tubes big time!

The 24s have a rack steering system and it is 1.5 turns lock to lock... if you can turn your hands fast enough the boat still puts you in your seat as it turns. However it is not as easy as the rest of the line up.

@Britboater I believe the meeting is some time around the 3rd week of August. Don't worry you wont be disappointed.

AND NO the 19's will not have the articulating keel!!! The FSH is the new 19 boat for 2016. There is rumor of a retro kit but it won't be $200 like @JetBoatPilot. After driving the FSH I'm not a fan of the "rudder" on the boat. Fast turns get very aggressive very quickly. The 24 series is a totally different drive with the keel.

Are you kidding me...are you guys saying they are coming out with a dedicated surf boat?

I hope so, but they are a little late to the party!

To be honest I wanted an Axis, but wife wanted another Yamaha...sure would have been nice to have been able to have it both ways Yamaha. Little late to the party indeed..

Late for you guys, not for me. . . . . = )

Dedicated Wake Surf Edition is just the fuel I need to light the fires under the wife.

Urgh not listening not listening!!! I'm already close if the Wedge I just ordered and extra ballast I added this year doesn't do it for me to just saying screw it and going to an axis or something...
