Running surfaces are the same. Main changes were revised nozzles and reverse buckets, corrosion resistance coating on pumps and driveline components, stainless+composite wear ring, Wetsounds speakers instead of Polk, Wake Booster Surf optional package and a few other minor things I'm probably missing but those are the main differences.

The pump redesign took Yamaha many years and from what I can tell, those new pumps in 2019 are pretty sweet.
