2020 AR195 lacking top speed

This is what I am looking at. Is this the right place? That bladed fan thing only spins one way.

Could this piece of foam have blocked the air intake there and caused it not to get anymore air? How much suction I there is if it could suck that and close the intake.

Who knows if its loose enough it could move closer and restrict air. I know some people take the rubber shoot out of the inside of the airbox to improve air flow. I took them out of my ar240
The svho sucks a lot of air. On my FZS with the same motor i have a intake and riva filter and when you rev it you can actually see the seat suck in . Its wild.

Without removing the foam you can test just with the intake boot off for a run
 
Yeah I guess I could either remove the foam since it seems to be coming off or like you said take the intake boot off and see what happens. I can’t think of anything else. I checked all the hoses, checked the intake grate and imolmer shaft and impeller and there is nothing in there.
