Trying to put on our shipping cover for winter storage and can't recall how it goes.

I have two poles, one longer than the other. I assume that the short one goes in front. I know the white straps go to the cleats. does the long strap go OVER the tower or under? (We have the tower down and shipping brackets installed already) It doesn't quite seem to reach going over, but don't we need the support from the strap to help keep it lifted?

A video we saw with one pole shows a black strap going to the tower light when the tower is down which is why we're trying this way.

The poles should be marked front and back, at least mine are. I would assume with the tower down, the strap would not fit over the windshield and tower. I don’t have a tower on my boat, but with the top down the poles just fit with the main strap going over the window. I would think trying to cross over the tower, it will fall short. I would guess, feed it through and under the tower. Good thing, the tower will provide additional shedding as it’s a middle high spot.
