Another transducer communication issue....

Leaving a transducer actively pinging while out of the water for an extended period of time WILL cause it to over heat and destroy itself. So the dealer needs to pay for all of it.

This is why when you take your boat to the dealer, or car for that matter, you check everything over with a fine tooth comb before leaving, including firing the engines for a few seconds. One time leaving the car dealership after getting brakes I popped the hood to find the brake reservoir cap sitting there next to the reservoir.

Freaking reminds of work.
 
Picked my boat up yesterday, no charge! To me, the dealer did the right thing. It will make me go back…. And remind them to turn off the batteries every time I go.

We do not have payments set-up on the site quite yet, but can do a direct invoice if you are interested.

Installation is straight forward, unplug old transducer, remove, install new transducer, run new transducer cable to right inside the engine bay, plug in the t-harness the OEM plug, connect t-harness to new transducer.

Hello, unfortunately we are not vendors for the transducers yet. If you would like to order the harness, please PM me your shipping details and year/make/model of your boat and I will send over a PayPal invoice.
