3 of the screws holding the valve cover came off easy, one did not. It's a phillips with a slot. Is there a special tool to remove this?

I weld wing nuts to the top of those bolts when I get a new ski and it makes a world of difference when needing to remove those , been doing it for a very long time

I think someone at the marina used a power wrench on it

(cool patents)

use a hand held impact tool with a big screwdriver bit. 1747615450537.png then get big wing nuts welded to the top of the bolts and never need any tools in them in the future

I have an impact tool I use for auto work that should work. The wing nuts sound great, but how do you weld wing nuts to the bolts?

Use the impact tool I showed you because you hit it with a hammer and the bit is pushed down as it turns.
A regular tool like you have will just strip the slot in the bolt head , as for welding wing nuts to the top of the bolts get big ones sit them on top of the head of the bolt and weld in the center of the wing nut works great , been doing it for many years. Also put dielectric grease on your coil boots when you put them on the new plugs and use never seize on the end of the plugs , "not debatable" have 1000's of hours and many years doing this and have not had a plug break. or even get stuck.
