Engine hours

I am selling our always freshwater 2014 AR 190 (moved off the MN lake) and need to know engine hours for buyers- I swear I could see it last year scrolling down the screen- this spring I fired the engine briefly to get that 30 second window to scroll down the screen to engine hours- the tach meter swings back and forth for most of the 30 second window and I can’t get to engine hours- is this corroded connectors? I have seen posts that say start and stop the engine 3-5 times… not sure what to try.

One battery or two in your boat? Does the tach ever stop swinging back and forth?

One battery. Yes, it swings back and forth and then stops but the thirty second window closes too quickly for me to get to the second screen where the hours show up

We found out the battery is bad so we are replacing that- not sure if that helps…

Bet it will... swinging is a symptom of that sometimes.
