I used my boat for a 10-day trip with no issues, trailered the boat home. went to turn on the boat, the connext screen did not turn on and the tachometers just go back and forth. engine works and all other electronics work. I did recently switch to lithium. any suggestions?

Thanks

If you recently were messing around with batteries, I would start there. Make sure everything is hooked up correctly.

unfortunately it sounds like you fried your connext unit.....it's very sensitive to voltage spikes which can occur when connecting/disconnecting batteries. may be covered under the YES warranty if you have it.

I would probably check all the fuses and connections to make sure. The tach's sweeping back and forth suggest a fried connext (this happened on my previous boat). once the connext unit is replaced, the tach's go back to working correctly.

My YES warranty just hit 5 years in May of 25. How much was the connext? dam!

will check batteries and fuses just in case

thanks

mine was replaced thru warranty...I think the part is between $500 and $1,000 but the hard part is getting one. Many times they are backordered for months/years and some vendors raise the price substantially.. I would check with Dealer, and then find the correct part number and check the online parts stores.
