Great lake, we went up there for weekend and enjoyed the lake to ourselves basically. If you have never been and live in GA,SC,TN,NC make trip for weekend they have cabins or camping. Devils fork state park.

I love Jocassee! Not many beaches for the kids to play on, but the overall seclusion and scenery is nice.

Any danger spots I need to lookout for? Hidden rocks, stumps? Was thinking of taking the boat up one day next week.

Only if you go way back into the narrows of coves ro point of needing reverse only to get out. Very deep lake. Can be in a narrow area at end of cove 60ft wide and still be 40-50ft deep
